Ho deciso di smaltare le lettere impresse in un rosso sangue per ricordare le origini e di ricoprire il corpo dell’oggetto solo con dello smalto opaco e trasparente per far risaltare la terra nera con cui è stato creato ricordando le spiagge vulcaniche dell’Islanda.

These incense holders were created to soothe a Viking’s mind. Just choose a scent that relaxes you, light it, and everything around you will seem more understandable and interesting. I’ve created them with various phrases to best suit every personality. I decided to glaze the embossed letters in blood red to evoke their origins and to coat the body of the object only with matte and transparent glaze to highlight the black clay from which it was crafted, reminiscent of Iceland’s volcanic beaches.
